What you'll do: 

  • Spot, recruit, and develop volunteer worship team members
  • Develop and lead an efficient onboarding process for worship team volunteers and contractors 
  • Manage the music production budget and resources. Collaborate with worship pastors, musicians, and technical staff to plan and produce music for church services and events. 
  • Arrange, compose, and transcribe music for various instruments and vocal arrangements. 
  • Actively engage in and contribute to monthly worship sessions during All Staff
  • Coordinate recording sessions, live performances, and rehearsals. 
  • Maintain and update music libraries and databases. 
  • Develop and maintain relationships with music industry professionals, including publishers, labels, producers, and artists. 
  • Manage copyright and licensing agreements for music used in church services and events.
  • Ensure high-quality audio and video production standards are met for all music-related projects. 
  • Collaborate with Broadcast & Studio Audio Engineer – ensuring consistent quality which accurately reflects the brand of Lakepointe Music. 
  • Provide leadership in weekly worship services 
  • Assistance in leading, planning and participating in special events 
  • Manage Demo & Production processes for Lakepointe Music and album campaigns as determined by Global Worship Pastor 

Skills & Experience you’ve had:

  • Leadership skills (including the ability to recruit and develop) 
  • Musical talent and abilities may include, but not limited to: instrumental, arranging/producing, songwriting, ability to sing and coach harmonies
  • Proficiency in a DAW (Ableton, ProTools, Logic, etc.) and professional recording industry standards 
  • Strong understanding and practical application of music theory
