Overall Responsibilities:  

The Pastor of Ministries will work with the LPE (Lakepointe en Español) Campus Pastor to execute the strategy, vision, and values of Lakepointe Church.  The Pastor of Ministries will assist the LPE Campus Pastor to work toward excellence in all areas of the ministry, lead selected ministries at the campus and develop staff and volunteer leaders to effectively reach people far from God and lead them to passionately follow Jesus.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • To lead, train, and shepherd the assigned ministry staff of the Campus
  • To lead LPE Groups and to consistently launch new groups and leaders at the Campus
  • To lead the midweek LPE ministry initiatives at the Campus
  • In conjunction with the Campus Pastor to lead weekend services and ministries including Host Teams, Connection Center, Next Steps, Students, Kids & Worship
  • In conjunction with the Campus Pastor, provide ministry alignment in keeping with the strategic goals established by the Central Team
  • Actively engage in and contribute to monthly worship sessions during All Staff
  • Serve as the catalyst for and provide leadership to recruit, develop, and equip volunteer leadership across the different ministry areas
  • To consistently live out the Leadership Behaviors at work and at home
  • Other duties as assigned by the supervisor

  • Maintain proper priorities in your home including your spouse and children (if married and/or with children)
  • Faithfully support the ministries of Lakepointe by maintaining wise stewardship measures over the resources entrusted to you
  • Perform duties and responsibilities in a manner that glorifies Christ and furthers the mission of Lakepointe Church

  • This role serves a Spanish-speaking congregation, but works in an English-speaking organization; so, ability to fluently communicate in Spanish and English is required.
